Assembly Overhead Cranes
Destination
Assembling crane is destined for installation in engine room of see going vessel
with unlimited range of operations. The crane services for assembling operations
and transportation of various elements, and particularly of main engine parts with
a mass not exceeding crane nominal hoisting load.
Structure
The crane is travelling on travelling tracks installed in ship engine room. The
crane consists of following units:
- crane bridge
- crane trolley
- bridge travelling mechanism
- trolley travelling mechanism
- hoisting mechanism
- electric drive
Cranes are made with:
- hoisting mechanism for ships with normal deck location
- hoisting mechanisms for ships with lower deck, where engine elements shift under
deck between mechanisms
- hoisting mechanisms for ships with very low deck, where engine elements shift under
deck between two mechanisms. Third mechanism acts for dismounted piston rod tilting.
Certificates
Cranes are produced, due to customer requirements, with various Classification Society
Certificates in between:
- GL,
- DNV,
- LRS,
- ABS,
- BV,
- PRS,
- MRS
